Role Overview:Gresham Global seeks a proactive, detail-oriented, and suitably qualified candidate to join us as Regional Representative, based in Mumbai, supporting the University of Guelph, Canada. The University of Guelph is a highly ranked, leading institution offering a broad range of undergraduate programmes. Known for its commitment to academic excellence across numerous disciplines, it has established a strong reputation on the international stage.

Student Recruitment:Represent and promote the University of Guelph at education fairs, exhibitions, and relevant seminars to attract students from the region. Deliver presentations and seminars at various schools and colleges, providing individual counselling sessions to students and their key influencers. Develop and maintain working relationships with key personnel from various schools, colleges, and universities.

Ensure an outstanding experience for every student throughout their application journey. Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students to address queries and provide necessary support. Organize events for students at different application stages to enhance conversions, such as offer-holder events, pre-departure briefings, etc.

Plan and arrange necessary visits for the team from the international office and academics. Collaborate closely with agents and consultants to ensure the submission of high-quality applications. Cultivate a professional working relationship with agents and consultants, providing regular updates, feedback, and information.

Conduct regular in-person training sessions for partner agents and consultants across India. Marketing Initiatives:Collaborate closely with the University's International Office and Marketing team to implement digital and social marketing strategies. Provide necessary inputs to the team for marketing collateral such as student giveaways, prospectuses, etc.

Develop a comprehensive plan for social and digital media, as well as SEO, tailored to the Indian market. Brand Building:Foster the University of Guelph's brand across institutes, agents, and consultants. Collaborate with alumni to create an alumni chapter, enabling them to share their experiences with prospective Indian students.

Adhere to the University's principles and ensure the brand is well-represented and visible across the region. Candidate Profile – Competencies, Experience, and Skills:Experience of 6 – 8 years working with a Canadian-based University in student recruitment

Open to travel across the region to attend recruitment fairs, events, seminars, and support other recruitment initiatives

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written and oral

Excellent presentation skills

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Ability to think critically and to provide the right solution to internal and external stakeholders

Prior experience of studying, working, or living in Canada will be a bonus. Master's or Bachelor's degree Working Model: Office-based, Full Time. (This is not a hybrid or WFH position)Location: Chembur, Mumbai, India.
