Sketching & Conceptualization:

Translate ideas into detailed hand sketches and renderings with accuracy and visual appeal.

Market Analysis:

Conduct ongoing research on regional trends, festivals, wedding seasons, and buyer behaviors to inform design direction.

·
Collection Development:

· Develop thematic collections and capsule lines that appeal to diverse Indian demographics and regions.

·
Collaboration:

· Work closely with product development, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure alignment from concept to final product.

·
Mentorship:

Guide junior designers and provide creative direction to enhance team output.

·
Client Interaction (if applicable):

Collaborate with retail or B2B clients to develop custom designs or modify existing concepts.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

· Degree/Diploma in Jewellery Design / Applied Arts / Fine Arts or relevant field

· –8 years of jewellery design experience, preferably in diamonds jewellery

· Portfolio must include hand sketches and diamond jewellery collections for the Indian market

Key Skills & Attributes:

· Outstanding hand sketching and visualization skills

· In-depth understanding of domestic jewellery trends and consumer preferences

· Strong knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and traditional techniques

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficient in design software (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

· Leadership capabilities and a proactive attitude
