Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Jewelry CAD Designer with over 5 years of experience in creating production-ready CAD models. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in fine jewelry design and be capable of transforming creative concepts into precise 3D CAD files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and detailed CAD models aligned with design and production requirements.
  • Convert hand sketches, concepts, and ideas into 3D CAD files using software such as Rhino, Matrix, or similar.
  • Ensure technical accuracy for manufacturing, including stone settings, metal thickness, and tolerances.
  • Collaborate with design, sampling, and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
  • Revise and update CAD models based on feedback from production and QC teams.
  • Maintain organized records of CAD files and related documentation.
  • Identify and resolve design or production challenges proactively.
  • Keep up to date with jewelry design trends and CAD technology advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fine jewelry CAD design.
  • Proficient in Rhino, Matrix, ZBrush, or equivalent CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes (casting, stone setting, finishing).
  • Ability to interpret design briefs and produce precise technical CADs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, CAD Design, or related field preferred.
