Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced CAD Designer to join our jewellery design team. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D jewellery designs using the CAD software, collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure that designs are innovative, feasible, and meet the companys quality standards. This role requires expertise in jewellery design and proficiency in CAD software to bring designs from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3D Jewellery Design: Utilize CAD software to create detailed, accurate 3D designs of rings, necklaces, bracelets, and other jewellery pieces.
  • Design Customization: Work with clients to design bespoke jewellery pieces, ensuring their specifications and preferences are accurately represented in the CAD models.
  • Prototyping and Samples: Create prototypes and 3D models for review, ensuring that designs are manufacturable and align with the company's quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other designers, the production team, and the product development department to ensure that designs are feasible and meet technical requirements.
  • Design Modifications: Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback from clients, the design team, or the production team to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Technical Drawings: Prepare technical drawings and specifications of designs, including material types, gemstone placements, and sizing details for production.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest jewellery trends and integrate new styles, patterns, and techniques into design concepts.
  • Client Presentations: Assist in presenting CAD designs to clients for approval and make adjustments based on client feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Any Graduate
  • 5+ years of experience in CAD jewellery design, with expertise in CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and material properties (gold, diamonds, gemstones, etc.).
  • Ability to create high-quality, detailed designs and models using CAD software.
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Knowledge of design principles, including proportions, scale, and aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Rhinoceros, AutoCAD, Photoshop) is a plus.
