Job Title: Legal Expert

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in software licensing and intellectual property matters.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate technology-related contracts, including SaaS Licensing Agreements, MSAs, Vendor/Procurement Agreements, Consulting Agreements, NDAs, and Partnership Agreements.
  • Provide expert advice on contractual obligations, rights, and risk mitigation to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and business requirements.
  • Manage intellectual property rights and technology use.
  • Resolve disputes related to IP rights and technology use.
  • Negotiate contracts with international clients, ensuring global compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain standard contract templates to support procurement and business teams.
  2. Collaborate with senior management to mitigate legal risks and drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Law (LL.B.) or higher; LL.M. preferred.
  • At least 7-12 years of experience in IT industry legal roles, with software licensing expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of intellectual property, technology regulations, and data privacy.
  • Experience with international contracts.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in corporate legal departments or reputable law firms supporting technology clients.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
