The
Program Manager (VLSI)
will be responsible for managing multiple semiconductor programs across front-end, back-end, and post-silicon domains. This role demands strong technical understanding, cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and program governance expertise within the semiconductor/VLSI ecosystem.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Program & Project Management

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end execution of VLSI/ASIC/SoC projects across RTL design, verification, synthesis, PD, and validation.
  • Define program scope, milestones, schedules, and delivery plans aligned with customer and organizational goals.
  • Track progress using structured methodologies, ensuring on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery.
  • Identify program risks, dependencies, and resource challenges; implement proactive mitigation plans.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Analog layout, design, DFT, PD, CAD, EDA, and validation teams to drive execution excellence.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering, quality assurance, HR (for resource ramp-up), and business units.
  • Coordinate with client-side technical managers and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders for all program-related communication.
  • Conduct regular status reviews, present program dashboards, and provide executive-level reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding technical requirements and delivery expectations.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive efficiency through process standardization, automation, and best-practice frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for milestones, project health, metrics, and lessons learned.
  • Monitor program financials, budget utilization, and resource allocation efficiency.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor project managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR and recruitment to ensure effective team ramp-up for ongoing and upcoming programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree 10+ experience in program management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
