Role description:
Arcadis IBI is looking for Associate Project Manager. The APM must ensure timely delivery of all project activities as per contract scope and KPIs. Coordinate with client representatives and stakeholders for smooth project operations. Supervise and manage project team members, ensuring efficient task allocation and productivity. Conduct regular review meetings to track progress and resolve issues. Identify training and development needs for the team. Ensure uninterrupted operation of systems/equipment under O&M scope. Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Maintain proper documentation, logs, and reports as per project requirements. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Conduct periodic audits and maintain project documentation. Ensure Project expenses are within budget, monitor expenses, and ensure cost control. Oversee preparation and submission of client invoices and follow up for timely payment collection. Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives. Handle client communication, reporting, and performance reviews. Address client concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Role accountabilities:
The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for the following scope of work under the Proejct:
- Operation of Central Control Room at TPHQ:
The work involves operation and monitoring the Fully Adaptive ATC System ITACA from the Central Control Room in three shifts in coordination with ATC Control Room staff of Traffic Police Head Quarter. The TPHQ Control Room is located at 5th Floor, Traffic Police Headquarters (TPHQ), 87, Sir Pochkhanwala Road, Worli, Mumbai no. TPHQ Operators work in 3 shifts with 1 Operator available as reliever in case of exigency. The PM should ensure that all the activities are carried out by the shift operators as per the SOP of each shift and daily reports are submitted to client as per schedule. The PM will be responsible for preparing the shift schedule for each month.
2. Maintenance of Central Control Room at TPHQ:
The maintenance includes comprehensive maintenance of the equipment installed in TPHQ Control Room. The PM has to ensure that the Servers, PCs, ACs, BARCO Videowalls, UPS, MTNL network connectivity, etc. at the TPHQ Control room are functioning properly and in case of any issues raise complaint to relevant Vendors appointed for the O&M of the equipment and get the equipment repaired/replaced at the earliest to ensure no penalty is levied by Client due to SLA breach.
3. Operation of Failure/Fault Management System (FMS) at BMC ATC Control Room, Worli:
The work involves operation and monitoring of Failure/Fault Management System. The BMC ATC Control Room is located at the Office of Ex. Engineer (ATC), Ground Floor, Engineering Hub Building, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Dr. E Moses Road, Worli, Mumbai FMS Operator works in normal shift from 9am to 5pm. The PM should ensure that all the activities are carried out by the FMS operators as per the SOP and daily FMS calls are submitted to O&M Teams and client as per schedule. In case of non-availability of FMS Operator, PM should ensure that the TPHQ Operator at TPHQ sends the FMS calls to O&M Team and client as per the SOP of FMS CR to avoid penalty from Client.
4. Maintenance of Failure/Fault Management System at BMC ATC Control Room, Worli:
The maintenance includes comprehensive maintenance of equipment installed at BMC ATC Control Room. The PM has to ensure that the FMS Server, PCs, BARCO Videowalls, UPS, MTNL network connectivity, etc. at the BMC ATC Control room are functioning properly and in case of any issues raise complaint to relevant Vendors appointed for the O&M of the equipment and get the equipment repaired/replaced at the earliest to ensure no penalty is levied by Client due to SLA breach.
5. Storage Depot Maintenance & Inventory Management
BMC has set up a Storage and Testing Depot. The storage depot is located at plot bearing no. C.T.S. No. 1/114 & 1J/136, Dr. E. Moses Road, Worli, Mumbai The PM should ensure that the Depot Manager & Storekeeper deputed at the Storage depot carry out the testing and inventory management of all the electronic cards/ equipment of the respective maintenance contracts of ATC department. In addition to the Depot Manager & Storekeeper, 4 Labours during general shift and 3 Security guards (2 in night shift & 1 in day shift) are provided at Store through outsourced agency. The PM should ensure the availability of the labours and security personnel to ensure no penalty is levied by Client due to SLA Breach. In addition to the same PM should also carry out the upkeep of the infrastructure provided at the Storage depot and carry out maintenance activities as required for ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Storage Depot.
6. Remote Support of OEM for ITACA issues
The work involves OEM (M/s. Kapsch TrafficCom Transportation S.A.U., Spain) remote support for the ITACA (Intelligent Traffic Adaptive Control Area) System and the Failure/Fault Management System. The support from OEM shall be obtained during working hours of country of origin (Spain). It is the sole responsibility of the PM to communicate with OEM i.e. M/s. Kapsch TrafficCom Transportation S.A.U. and to get the activity done of Remote Support for health check-up, any technical issue arises in ITACA system and half yearly Review, system audit & level 3 ITIL maintenance of ITACA system. The PM shall ensure to get the connection log of remote connection and activity report of the respective activity from the OEM (M/s. Kapsch TrafficCom Transportation S.A.U., Spain) and submit the compliance report after completion of activities carried out by M/s. Kapsch TrafficCom Transportation S.A.U. to client.
In addition to the above, PM may also be required to attend to Traffic junction & signal related complaints received from Traffic Police, BMC Engineers and other stakeholders by visiting the site, evaluating options and providing best possible option to resolve the traffic junction and Traffic signal related issues. After each and every site visit, PM has to ensure that the Traffic Engineer submits a report to Client mentioning the issue, actions taken, status of issue and how the issue was resolved for review and record purpose.
Attend to Traffic junction and Traffic Signal related meetings with Client, Traffic Police, O&M Teams and provide necessary inputs and guidance. Carry out monthly coordination meeting with the Team, visit regularly to TPHQ CR & Storage Depot for review and supervision.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Transportation/Traffic project for B.E./B.Tech candidate
or
Minimum 3 years' experience in Transportation/Traffic project for M.E./M.Tech candidate
Skills: Must know MS Office and knowledge of AutoCAD/PTV Vissim/Q-GIS/SIDRA Intersections is desirable
Key Qualification Requirements: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Computer/ Information Technology/ Civil
