Mode- Direct contract.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Taxation (Major Role)

  • GST Compliance:

  • Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

  • Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2A/2B and vendor ledgers.
  • Handle GST payments, refunds, and reconciliations.

  • Assist in GST audits, assessments, and departmental queries.

  • TDS Compliance:

  • Deduct and deposit TDS on applicable payments as per Income Tax Act.

  • Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).
  • Generate and issue Form 16/16A to vendors and employees.

  • Maintain records for TDS reconciliation and verification.

  • Tax Audit Support:

  • Prepare tax audit data and schedules as required under Section 44AB.

  • Coordinate with auditors for submission of audit-related documentation.

2. Accounts Payable

  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals and compliance with tax laws.
  • Verify vendor bills for accuracy in GST, TDS applicability, and PO terms.
  • Maintain vendor ledgers and perform periodic vendor reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and handle queries related to invoices and deductions.
  • Monitor creditors ageing reports and assist in cash flow management.

3. General Accounting & Compliance

  • Support month-end closing and financial reporting activities.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and internal controls.
  • Assist in annual statutory audits and provide necessary documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Experience: 25 years of experience in Taxation (GST, TDS) and Accounts Payable.

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of GST and TDS provisions.

  • Hands-on experience in Tally / SAP / Oracle / ERP systems.
  • Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
