We are hiring a Senior Manager Direct Taxation for a reputed professional services firm with a strong global tax practice. This is a leadership opportunity for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with proven expertise in Direct Tax Advisory, Compliance, and Litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple client engagements in Direct Taxation — from compliance and advisory to litigation and assessments.
  • Advise clients on domestic and international tax matters, structuring, and risk management.
  • Represent clients before tax authorities, including CIT(A), ITAT, and higher courts.
  • Ensure timely delivery and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Mentor and develop a team of tax professionals and ensure quality output.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships through proactive tax insights and advisory.
  • Collaborate with internal and global teams to identify new opportunities and drive practice growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10–12 years of post-qualification experience in Direct Taxation.
  • Strong exposure to tax advisory, compliance, assessments, and litigation.
  • Prior experience managing client engagements independently.
  • Excellent drafting, representation, and communication skills.
  • Leadership ability to mentor teams and deliver high-quality results.
  • Exposure to International Taxation and familiarity with sectors like manufacturing, real estate, or media/entertainment would be a plus.
