About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Odoo Expert with strong hands-on experience in customization, module development, and integration with third-party applications.

This role requires deep understanding of sales automation, marketing automation, content management, API integrations, and server staging workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a strong project management mindset, ensuring efficient planning, clear communication, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Customize Odoo modules for Sales, CRM, Marketing, Website, Inventory, and other business functions.

Integrate Odoo with third-party tools for sales automation, marketing automation, content creation/management, and productivity workflows.

Create and manage staging environments for safe testing before production deployment.

Perform website cloning, backups, version control, and preventative maintenance.

Troubleshoot Odoo technical issues, server errors, module conflicts, and integrations.

Work with internal teams to gather requirements and convert them into functional Odoo solutions.

Ensure smooth rollouts, documentation, and handover of completed tasks.

Optimize performance of Odoo databases, modules, and automations.

Participate in scheduled discussions during late India hours for progress reviews and planning.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years hands-on experience in Odoo customization and module development.

Strong understanding of Odoo frameworks, Python, XML, PostgreSQL, and Odoo APIs.

Proven experience integrating Odoo with CRM, marketing automation tools, content platforms, or SaaS applications.

Experience managing staging servers, development workflows, and deployment pipelines.

Ability to clone systems, perform backups, and maintain rollback plans.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Project-oriented mindset with ability to manage deadlines without micromanagement.

Preferred Skills

Experience with or self-hosted Odoo environments.

Knowledge of Docker, Git, and server management tools.

Familiarity with sales funnels, automated workflows, and marketing campaign setups.

Experience with project management tools (Trello, Asana, ClickUp, etc.).
