Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals (Windows & macOS).
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and network issues.
  • Manage user profiles, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Outlook, Office 365, VPNs, and remote access tools.
  • Handle system upgrades, imaging, and OS installations.
  • Support users on LAN/WAN connectivity, IP configuration, and basic switch/router issues.
  • Ensure endpoint security and antivirus updates are properly implemented.
  • Coordinate with L3/network teams for escalation and resolution of complex issues.
  • Maintain IT inventory and incident records in ticketing tools (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, etc.).
  • Follow ITIL best practices and ensure timely ticket closure within SLA.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support Engineer (L2 level).
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Windows 10/11, MS Office 365, Outlook configuration
  • Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO
  • Remote desktop tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP)
  • Good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN).
  • Experience with ticketing tools and asset management systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer-handling skills.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
