Job Summary
The Sr. Executive - FSDS at Akasa Air is responsible for overseeing the document management system (FSDS) within the organization. This role involves ensuring all safety-related documentation is current and compliant with regulatory standards. The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and ensure seamless document management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the document owner to produce documents such as Department manuals / SOPs, check-lists and forms.
  • Identify necessary changes in manuals/documents based on regulatory and operational changes/requirements.
  • Revise related documentation to keep it current.
  • Monitor and ensure all documents, including inter departmental documents, are synchronized. Ensure necessary revisions are made whenever there is a change in any related document, including those of other departments.
  • Ensure that documents produced are of the highest quality, conform to company standards, are user-friendly and effective.
  • Assist document owners to comply with regulations and IOSA standards related to documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and meetings pertaining to documentation.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Sr Manager - FSDS.

Educational Qualification

  • B.E. / B.Tech / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering / Equivalent Bachelor's degree in communication

Required Skills & Experience

  • Good understanding of process and procedures formulation.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in document management systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
  • Proven ability to collaborate with professionals from various backgrounds towards a common goal.

Good To Have

  • Knowledge of XML, Adobe FrameMaker, HTML and Adobe Acrobat will be an added advantage.
  • Documentation management, technical writing, or work experience in a technical publications environment will be an added advantage.
