Position Overview:
The
Senior Executive – Corporate Communication
will be responsible for managing internal communications, content creation, and brand storytelling across the
organization. The role focuses on driving employee engagement through impactful communication materials, promotional content, and internal campaigns that reflect the company's vision, culture, and achievements. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality communications in alignment with Blue Dart and DHL Group's global communication standards.
Job Purpose:
To enhance internal communication effectiveness, strengthen brand visibility, and ensure consistent storytelling across internal and external platforms. The role will contribute to creating engaging narratives, designing impactful content, and ensuring timely dissemination of key messages that align with business priorities and organizational values.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Operational:
- Plan, design, and execute internal communication materials such as newsletters, announcements, and organizational updates (e.g., Dartboard Newsletter).
- Prepare and circulate PULSE Report—a monthly e-update covering media highlights, key events, and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop creative promotional materials and marketing collaterals to support Sales, Product Development, and other internal teams.
- Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to gather, develop, and refine content for communication campaigns.
- Optimize internal communication platforms for better engagement and storytelling impact in line with group communication standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information across all internal channels.
- Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations and PDFs for senior management and organizational communication.
- Maintain continuous enhancement of communication platforms with up-to-date and visually appealing content.
Strategic:
- Support the Head – Corporate Communications & Sustainability in developing and executing internal communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Integrate global best practices and design standards from the DHL Group to ensure uniformity and consistency in brand messaging.
- Contribute ideas and innovative approaches for employee engagement and brand storytelling initiatives.
Financial:
- Ensure communication-related activities adhere to budgetary guidelines and compliance standards.
- Optimize resources for creative design and content execution through efficient vendor management and coordination.
People & Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure alignment and timely delivery of communication requirements.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and creative agencies daily for content planning, design, and execution.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and written communication skills while engaging with senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
- Essential: Bachelor's degree in mass communication, Journalism, or related field.
- Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in Corporate Communications, PR, or Marketing.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or brand content creation.
- Experience in managing creative design, newsletters, and digital communication platforms preferred.
Skills & Capabilities:
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong command over written English and visual communication.
- Familiarity with internal communication tools and content management platforms.
