The Tea Toast Co. is India's first premium vegetarian café brand, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Belgaum, Karnataka. Established by four passionate entrepreneurs, we create curated café spaces that foster community and connection. With 10 stores in Tier-2 cities and plans for expansion, our cafés are beloved by Millennials, Gen Z, and travelers seeking high-quality, health-conscious meals and drinks. We've achieved EBITDA positivity and are set to expand through company-owned and franchise models, alongside a D2C retail line of premium packaged tea, coffee, and ready-to-eat products.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Belgaum for an HR Lead – People & Culture. The HR Lead will be responsible for managing the entire HR function including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. This individual will oversee hiring processes, develop and implement HR policies, manage employee relations, and ensure a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture. The HR Lead will also handle employee benefits, training programs, and foster a positive work environment that aligns with the company's values and goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, and Onboarding processes
  • Strong skills in Employee Engagement, Performance Management, and Employee Relations
  • Proficiency in HR Policies, Compliance, and Benefits Administration
  • Excellent communication, Leadership, and Team Management skills
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality
  • Experience in the hospitality or food & beverage industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
