About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer who has deep hands-on experience across the full SFMC ecosystem.

The ideal candidate can independently design, build, automate, and optimize personalized customer journeys while ensuring scalable data flows and best-practice delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Campaign & Journey Development : Build and optimize multi-channel journeys in Journey Builder, leveraging Entry Sources, Decision Splits, Automation Triggers, and Exit Logic.
  • Data Modeling & Segmentation : Design and manage Data Extensions, Subscriber Key strategy, and relational data models; write advanced SQL in Automation Studio for segmentation and data transformations.
  • Personalization & Scripting : Implement dynamic and personalized content using AMPscript and SSJS, including lookup logic, conditional rendering, and field-level customization.
  • Automation & Workflows : Create and maintain scheduled workflows in Automation Studio, including Query Activities, File Imports, and triggered sends.
  • Integrations & APIs : Work with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate SFMC with Salesforce CRM or external platforms; manage synchronization, data mapping, and process reliability.
  • Best Practices & Documentation : Ensure campaign deliverability, maintain development documentation, follow version control, and enforce scalable development practices.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
  • Strong command over Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder.
  • Advanced SQL for segmentation and data processing.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript & Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
  • Experience integrating SFMC with CRM and external systems via APIs.
  • Solid understanding of subscriber data strategy, identity management, and data governance.
  • Ability to translate marketing requirements into technical build plans.

Mandatory Certifications (Any One Or More)

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (Required).
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant / Administrator / Developer (Preferred).

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Mobile Studio, Cloud Pages, or Landing Page forms.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for template adjustments.
