Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving the school's growth through strategic enrollment initiatives, brand promotion, community engagement, and partnership development. The role focuses on increasing student admissions, enhancing visibility, and building strong relationships with parents, corporates, and educational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies to achieve annual admission targets.
  • Plan and oversee local marketing campaigns, school events, and promotional activities to enhance brand awareness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with preschools, corporates, and community organizations for lead generation.
  • Conduct school tours, counseling sessions, and parent engagement programs to convert inquiries into admissions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure high-quality parent experience from inquiry to admission.
  • Manage digital marketing activities in coordination with the marketing agency or internal team.
  • Prepare and analyze admission reports, marketing ROI, and performance dashboards.
  • Represent the school in external education fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in business development, preferably in the education sector (schools, edtech, or training institutes).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/admission targets.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and manage marketing initiatives independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.
