Role - Deputy Manager (Taxation)

Qualification required - CA [Inter]

Experience required - 4-5 yrs

No. of days working - 6 Days

Shift - Day Shifts

Location - Gurgaon, Sector 18

Note: Candidates who have completed [CA inter] are eligible for applying.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Payable Operations Management

  2. Oversee end-to-end AP operations, including invoice processing, verification, approvals, and payments.

  3. Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices in ERP systems.
  4. Manage vendor advances, debit notes, credit notes, and payment adjustments.

  5. Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payouts as per credit terms.

  6. Vendor Management

  7. Address vendor queries and resolve disputes/clarifications promptly.

  8. Ensure completion of vendor onboarding, documentation, and statutory compliance (PAN, GST, etc.).

  9. Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  10. Ensure correct application of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements on all invoices.

  11. Coordinate for monthly/quarterly statutory returns by providing accurate AP data.

  12. Ensure audit-ready documentation and adherence to internal controls.

  13. Audit Support (Internal & Statutory)

  14. Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and documentation required for audits.

  15. Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of recommended controls.

  16. Systems, Controls & Process Improvements

  17. Strengthen internal controls around AP processes.

  18. Identify gaps and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

  19. Fixed Assets Register (FAR) Management

  20. Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register on a real-time basis.

  21. Ensure accurate capitalization of assets with correct categorization and useful life.
  22. Monitor asset movement across centers/branches.
  23. Manage asset additions, deletions, transfers, and write-offs.
  24. Ensure correct computation and monthly posting of depreciation as per applicable accounting standards and company policy.
  25. Review CWIP (Capital Work in Progress) ageing and ensure timely capitalization.
  26. Ensure proper treatment of repairs vs. capital expenditure.
