Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to design, manage, and optimize our database systems. The role involves installation, performance tuning, normalization, archiving, and ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Design and enforce database normalization and data modeling standards.
  • Implement data archiving, partitioning, and retention policies.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with best practices.
  • Manage database backups, replication, clustering, and disaster recovery.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide 24/7 support as needed.
  • Support developers with schema design, queries, and stored procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Strong SQL skills and expertise in tuning and optimization.
  • Knowledge of database design, normalization, and indexing strategies.
  • Experience with archiving solutions, partitioning, and data lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Understanding of HA/DR solutions (clustering, replication, failover).
  • Certifications like OCP, Microsoft SQL DBA, PostgreSQL DBA, or MongoDB DBA are a plus.

Qualification: Graduation

Experience: 2 to 2.5 years

Location: Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
