Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled accounts trainer who can manage a large group of trainees and oversee the Management Accounts process. This role involves delivering high-quality training, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a large group of trainees, ensuring high-quality training delivery across the management accounts process.
- Monitor and evaluate process performance using a structured training curriculum, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation in a standardized format, securing timely approvals for any updates or changes.
- Proactively identify potential risks and escalate them with appropriate mitigation strategies in a timely manner.
- Foster a transparent and collaborative work environment through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop and present performance dashboards to key stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, including automation and transformation initiatives.
- Effectively manage the team by setting clear goals and expectations and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Implement a structured performance review mechanism and drive consistent execution across the team.
- Create career development pathways and ensure succession planning by building strong internal backups at every level.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the UK-based client, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
Must haves:
- Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience with Record to Report (R2R), Bank Reconciliation and Accruals, month-end closing, financial reporting.
- Must have experience into training the juniors
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and accounting knowledge.
Qualifications:
- CA/ACCA/CMA/CFA
