About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and backend engineers to bring intuitive, performant, and scalable mobile solutions to life. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Android applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Java and Kotlin.
  • Work closely with UI/UX teams to implement visually appealing, intuitive, and responsive app interfaces.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between mobile apps and backend services.
  • Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and compatibility across diverse Android devices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android tools, libraries, frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
  • Expertise in Android SDK, Android Studio, and core mobile UI/UX principles.
  • Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of databases such as SQLite, Room, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Android libraries including Retrofit, Glide, Dagger2, Firebase, and other Jetpack components.
  • Knowledge of architecture patterns like MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and code optimization abilities.
  • Experience writing unit and UI tests using JUnit and Espresso.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous programming.
  • Understanding of Google Play Store policies, guidelines, and release workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app development.
  • Hands-on experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Jetpack Compose for modern Android development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
