Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Traffic Executive located in Kolkata. The Traffic Executive will be responsible for coordinating shipment schedules, communicating effectively with clients and truck drivers, managing logistics operations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role also involves monitoring transport activities, resolving delivery-related issues promptly, and maintaining updated records and reports to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination and client interaction
  • Logistics management experience, including shipment scheduling, delivery tracking, and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in using technology-based tools such as GPS systems or logistics software
  • Ability to manage operations in high-pressure environments and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Knowledge of urban logistics and local geography in Kolkata is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing transport and delivery records
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or similar field is a plus
