Regional Sales Manager -Higher Education - South

Location : Chennai / Coimbatore

Job Details:

We are looking for Sales professional who will exceed the set sales objectives and responsible for the

business development of Higher Education products. Sales Managers job entails selling and introducing

our Software and services related to Dassault Systems products to established and new clients from

Engineering and Science Colleges, training Institutes. The person will build business through outbound

calls, marketing activities and managing the internal sales team and external channel partners to achieve

the business goals. The primary duty involves tracking down and following up with higher education

institutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Developing and building a lead generation plan, meeting and/or exceeding monthly/quarterly/

annual targets.

Travel up-to 50% is needed to meet key persons, HOD, Principal & respective faculties from

institutes from the region to develop funnel, delivering presentations, negotiation meetings

and follow-ups and win the opportunities.

Identifying decision makers amongst the inbound/outbound leads in order to start sales

process.

Maintaining current client relationships and identifying potential clients.

Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects from higher education of the

organization.

Supporting the reseller communication channel in the region throughout the sales interval.

Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targets/forecasts, reporting on market

situation.

Coordinating with client, operation team, finance team & technical team for status on orders

from related departments in ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met.

Preparing tender documents and filing tenders for product line assigned working closely with sales

coordinator.

Capturing of accurate and complete information in Deal Registration Portal and/or Sales

force.

Creating and updating proposal templates and proposal material in a timely manner.

This role involves Business Development, interaction with clients, communication with internal

team, delivering presentations to key accounts / strategic leads and providing accurate forecast

to leadership team.

Propose region wise sales plans and targets in alignment with business objectives.

Desired Skills

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably 3+ years in higher education segment.

Must have experience in selling IITs, NITs, Engineering Colleges, govt training institutes.

Preferably experience in selling productslikeMATLAB, LabVIEW, CAD, CAM& CAETools orequivalent

Effective in communication and organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.

In-depth knowledge of market techniques and best practices.

Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

Proven sales experience in a related product or service line by meeting the business goals.

Proven track record of sourcing, developing, and growing partnerships.

Willingness to travel across assigned region.

Ability to manage / work with inhouse resources and channel partners.

Education

Engineering Graduates from ECE/ EIE / EEE/ Mech / Aero / Automobile with post-graduation is

preferred in engineering / Business.

Min. CGPA of 7 and above
