1. Order Management

  • Receive and review buyer purchase orders (POs) and specifications.
  • Prepare internal order sheets and production plans.
  • Maintain updated order status reports.

2. Sampling & Development

  • Coordinate sample development with the design and sampling teams.
  • Ensure samples meet buyer standards for fit, quality, trims, and measurements.
  • Follow up on sample approvals (proto, fit, PP, size-set, TOP, etc.).

3. Costing & Negotiation

  • Prepare cost sheets and BOM (Bill of Materials).
  • Negotiate with vendors for trims, fabrics, and other raw materials.
  • Ensure cost efficiency and maintain agreed margins.

4. Production Coordination

  • Liaise with production, planning, and quality teams to track order progress.
  • Monitor fabric and trim consumption, wastage, and inventory.
  • Ensure adherence to production timelines and solve bottlenecks proactively.

5. Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Communicate regularly with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and quality issues.
  • Follow up on material lead times and ensure timely availability to production.

6. Quality Assurance

  • Work with QC team to ensure production meets buyer quality standards.
  • Address and resolve quality issues, rejections, or deviations quickly.

7. Shipment & Documentation

  • Coordinate with logistics for packaging, labelling, and shipment planning.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and complete documentation (invoice, packing list, shipping marks, etc.).
  • Follow up with freight forwarders for on-time delivery.

8. Reporting & Communication

  • Maintain WIP (Work-in-Progress) reports and tracking sheets.
  • Communicate daily updates to managers and buyers (as required).
  • Attend review meetings and support audits/inspections.
