We are looking for an energetic and proactive Sales Executive to support business growth within government departments, ministries, and public sector undertakings (PSUs). The ideal candidate will assist in generating leads, following up on opportunities, and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders. This role focuses on execution, coordination, and ensuring smooth government engagement under the guidance of the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Engagement & Support

Assist in building and maintaining relationships with officials in government departments, PSUs, and regulatory bodies.

Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with clients to support the sales process.

Represent the company at government-related meetings or events, when required.

  1. Lead Generation & Opportunity Follow-Up

Identify potential leads within the government and PSU ecosystem through research and networking.

Follow up on inquiries, proposals, and pending approvals to ensure progress.

  1. Proposal & Documentation Assistance

Support the preparation and submission of proposals, tenders, and related documentation.

Maintain accurate records of opportunities, proposals, and client interactions.

  1. Market Research & Reporting

Collect competitor information and insights on industry trends within the government sector.

Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on leads, opportunities, and competitor activities.

  1. Sales Target Support

Assist in achieving quarterly and annual sales targets through diligent follow-ups and execution.

Ensure timely communication between internal teams and government clients to facilitate smooth service delivery.

Qualification & Knowledge:


•Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.


•
Experience: Minimum 1–4 years in government sales, B2G business development, or PSU liaison roles.


•Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


•Strong networking abilities with clients.


•Ability to work independently and deliver results under deadlines.


• Preferred: Existing network of contacts in relevant departments
