Role Overview:
As the Community Manager, you'll be the face of Kowo Workspaces, driving our mission of flexibility, community, and customer-centricity. You will oversee the seamless operation of our coworking space, fostering a thriving community while achieving key revenue and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Building & Engagement:
- Create a collaborative, welcoming, and energetic environment for members through regular events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with members, understanding their needs to deliver personalized support.
- Partner with local businesses and organizations to enhance community offerings and engagement.
Sales & Revenue Management:
- Drive sales efforts, including upselling and new member acquisition, to meet or exceed revenue targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Manage renewals and collections efficiently, ensuring timely payments and high retention rates.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services or event spaces to members.
Operations & Vendor Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the space, ensuring it remains professional, clean, and inspiring.
- Source and manage vendors, obtaining competitive quotes to maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and promptly address any operational issues.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Kowo by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Drive client retention by maintaining a high level of member satisfaction through proactive engagement and quick resolution of concerns.
- Regularly collect feedback to identify areas of improvement in services and member experience.
Team Collaboration & Training:
- Lead and inspire a small team, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Train and mentor team members to deliver consistent and excellent service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute company initiatives and enhance member experience.
Brand & Marketing:
- Support marketing efforts by promoting events and engaging with the larger Goa business ecosystem.
- Represent Kowo Workspaces at local events to build awareness and establish partnerships.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality sales or coworking space management.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with an extroverted and approachable personality.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing operational budgets.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Passion for community-building and fostering meaningful connections.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, financial reporting, and operational platforms (experience with Odoo is a plus).
