About the Role:

We are seeking an innovative and hands-on
Manufacturing Researcher
to support advanced process development and product industrialization across
Aerospace, Energy, Automotive, and Defense
domains. Based in Hyderabad, this role focuses on bridging the gap between R&D and scalable manufacturing through material, process, and system innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing methods for high-performance components, with experience in
precision machining, metal forming, additive manufacturing, surface treatments, or composite processing
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop
    advanced manufacturing processes
    for structural, thermal, and electro-mechanical components used in aerospace, energy systems, defence equipment, and vehicles.
  • Work on
    materials processing
    ,
    thermal treatments
    ,
    additive manufacturing
    , or
    joining techniques
    (e.g., welding, brazing, bonding) for high-integrity applications.
  • Collaborate with product design, materials, and quality teams to translate concepts into production-ready processes.
  • Develop and validate
    process parameters
    , perform
    DOE
    , and use data-driven methods to optimize yield, performance, and cost.
  • Interface with suppliers, equipment vendors, and internal teams to implement scalable and robust processes.
  • Use tools like
    SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, ANSYS
    , or
    process simulation software
    to support design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Conduct
    failure analysis
    , root cause investigations, and implement
    corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
    .
  • Maintain technical documentation: process plans, research reports, test logs, and validation protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Manufacturing Engineering
    ,
    Mechanical Engineering
    ,
    Materials Science
    , or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in
    manufacturing R&D
    ,
    process engineering
    , or
    production development
    in
    aerospace, automotive, energy
    , or
    defence
    sectors.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as
    CNC machining, additive manufacturing (SLM/EBM), sheet metal forming, composite layup
    , or
    coating processes
    .
  • Experience with
    metallic and composite materials
    , especially for structural or thermal-critical components.
  • Familiarity with
    quality systems and standards
    like
    AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949
    , or
    MIL-STD
    .
  • Proficiency in
    CAD/CAM tools
    , data analysis (e.g., Excel, Python, Minitab), and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to

  • Hands-on experience with
