Role Overview

The Senior Recruitment Executive will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for blue-collar and white-collar roles across production, corporate, and retail divisions of a retail dairy chain. The position requires a proactive recruiter capable of managing high-volume hiring while maintaining strong candidate quality, cultural fit, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment Planning & Execution

  • Understand labor requirements and plan hiring activities in alignment with business needs.
  • Manage recruitment across production units, organization, sales, retail stores, and corporate functions.
  • Ensure timely closure of all open positions as per defined SLAs.

2. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Source candidates through multiple channels: job portals, referrals, social media, employment exchanges and recruitment agencies.
  • Conduct Campus recruitments from Mumbai and outside. Make presentations to the target colleges and share recruitment needs.
  • Build partnerships with ITIs, staffing vendors, and local employment networks for blue-collar recruitment.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive talent pipeline for recurring roles.

3. Screening & Selection

  • Conduct preliminary screening, coordinate interviews, and evaluate candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Facilitate assessments, reference checks, and salary negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and legal requirements.

4. Recruitment Process Management

  • Maintain structured and transparent recruitment processes with measurable turnaround times.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source efficiency, and hiring quality.
  • Regularly report hiring progress and analytics to management.

5. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Represent the brand professionally to create a positive candidate experience.
  • Support HR initiatives to strengthen employer branding through online and offline channels.

6. Onboarding & Coordination

  • Manage pre-joining and onboarding activities for selected candidates.
  • Coordinate with HR operations and admin teams to ensure smooth joining formalities.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven expertise in blue-collar and white-collar hiring.
  • Effective communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of sourcing tools and local recruitment channels.
  • Data-driven approach with basic understanding of HRMS and MS Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions across functions and geographies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources / Business Administration.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in recruitment, preferably within FMCG, dairy, food production, or retail sectors.
  • Experience in bulk and frontline hiring for production and retail operations is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
