Position Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM)
with hands-on experience in IT sales both software and hardware. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for independently identifying potential clients, building
relationships, generating new business, and ensuring revenue growth.
This role requires an individual who is self-driven, strategic, and result-oriented,
capable of managing the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve organizational
growth targets.
Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities through cold calling,
email campaigns, social platforms, and field visits.
Visit and pitch solutions to schools, colleges, and corporate offices, ensuring
professional representation of the brand.
Build strong client relationships by understanding their IT infrastructure needs
and offering customized solutions.
Drive end-to-end sales process from prospecting to negotiation and closing
the deal.
Work closely with internal teams (technical, operations, and support) to ensure
seamless client onboarding and delivery.
Conduct regular follow-ups to maintain client satisfaction and identify upselling
or cross-selling opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging
technologies in software & hardware domains.
Create and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients in both domestic and
international markets.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on lead generation, conversion, and revenue
progress.
Required Skills & Competencies
Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development / IT Sales.
In-depth knowledge of software products such as Microsoft, Adobe, AutoCAD,
CorelDRAW, etc.
Strong understanding of hardware products including laptops, desktops,
printers, servers, etc.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
Confident in conducting corporate presentations and client meetings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable with field visits and client interactions.
Should possess a professional attitude with a proactive and self-motivated
approach.
Educational Qualification
Graduate in any stream (MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing preferred).
Strong IT and technical product understanding is mandatory.
