The SAP Retail Lead is responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and

support of SAP solutions tailored to retail operations. This role demands deep functional and

technical expertise in SAP IS-Retail, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track

record in managing end-to-end SAP retail projects.

Key Responsibilities
 Lead SAP IS-Retail implementations, including store inventory processes (e.g., write-

offs, adjustments, physical inventory).

 Manage POS inbound/outbound processes using Retail IDOCs.

 Oversee layaway, reservations, and POS business processes.

 Prepare functional designs for interfaces, master data, and enhancements.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored

SAP solutions.

 Ensure successful integration with external systems (e.g., SAP CPI, POS).

 Conduct workshops, blueprint sessions, testing, training, and defect management.

 Monitor SAP system performance and recommend optimizations.

 Provide leadership and mentorship to SAP consultants and developers.
