Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a D365 CE Technical Lead across full project lifecycle, with deep expertise in Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and Azure.
  • Design, develop, and deliver custom solutions using C#, JavaScript, plugins, workflows, and Dynamics 365 CE SDK.
  • Configure and customize Field Service modules – Work Order Management, Scheduling & Resource Optimization, Agreements, Entitlements, Mobile App Configuration, IoT Alerts, and Connected Field Service (CFS).
  • Implement Field Service Mobile App for technicians, including offline capabilities.
  • Integrate D365 Field Service with third-party systems (ERP, IoT platforms, scheduling tools).
  • Lead solution design sessions and technical workshops for Field Service features.
  • Manage DevOps practices – branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments via Azure DevOps.
  • Provide technical leadership, task allocation, and mentorship to developers.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
  • Support go-live phases and transition to post-production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–9 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
  • Minimum 4+ years of expertise in Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions.
  • 2+ years in Power Apps and Power Pages.
  • Strong development experience in C#, .NET Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, Dynamics CRM SDK, Workflows, Plugins, PCF Controls.
  • Proficiency with Power Platform (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate).
  • In-depth understanding of Field Service Scheduling, Resource Bookings, and Optimization Schedulers (RSO).
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, GIT, and solution deployments.
  • Familiarity with Field Service Mobile administration and offline scenarios.
  • Experience with API integrations, Web APIs, and Custom Connectors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Connected Field Service and IoT integration.
  • Knowledge of Field Service industry standards and service operations.
  • Exposure to Power BI reporting and dashboards.
  • Experience in Data Migration from legacy systems to Dynamics 365 CE.
