Role & responsibilities
Responsible for all existing operational contracts, contract retention, contract growth and development within the
relevant area and strengthen the portfolio, reputation and image of Magicomeal in Institutional Division.
Capable to head and control the Site-Operation and Administration by systematic approach.
- Ensure the profitable delivery of operations, control of costs & overheads through achievement of business targets
for GOP.
- Responsible for the delivery and expansion of sales and margin in all operations ensuring full compliance with
contractual obligations and Magicomeal policies and procedures.
- Support new business development through the promotion and costing of products & services and response to
tenders & proposals which deliver new business in Magicomeal Integrated Facilities Management activities.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of and meet all customer expectations under each of the relevant client
agreements.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial and qualitative reports; Report on the same to the AVP Culinary-Operations
on a monthly basis and as and when required
- Be proactive in the recovery of overdue, if any, owing from internal and external clients and maintain a close
relationship with Magicomeal Finance team to ensure all suppliers and contractor payments are managed
effectively.
- Manage, mentor and maintain a strong working relationship with the Business Development & Operational Teams,
offer assistance wherever and whenever required.
- Liaise with team to ensure alignment with the business goals and vision of Magicomeal
- Ensure quality of work by adhering to Magicomeal service standards
- Drive the Monthly MOM with client and action plan for closure
- Audit the
- Quality Audit Score and action plan,
- Client Audits at CPU (Co-ordination)
- Invoices,
- Customer Service Management,
- Resource Planning tool
- People -
- • Spearheading Site Operations, team building, strong systems and processes to maintain service quality.
- • Lead the Cluster Managers, site manager and ground level team by example.
- • Have ability to build trust and establish high value, long-term relationships with existing, new clients.
- • Strong knowledge in Man, Machine & Material Management, capable of individually handling a profitable site.
- • Internal growth plan, Control Attrition & Retention of staff.
- • Implementation of Lean management for improved production & cost-effective methods (Cycle time reduction
- etc.).
- • Monthly KPI (Key performance indicator) achievement meeting to review the monthly performance of each
- department and measurable KRA for annual appraisal.
- • Handling Multi-cultural and Multi-lingual Manpower in previous experience.
- Profitability -
- • Business planning / forecasting & execution.
- • Key accountable for P&L for Institutional Division Operations (Schools)
- • Knowledge of Legal Matter related to On-site / Off-Site Catering & Licenses.
- • Regular (Weekly/Monthly) meeting with Management to update on profit/ efficiency/ improvement strategy.
- Processes -
- • Heading the Operations team and leading them in achieving the desired Quality and Productivity targets
- • Plan and review Revenue & quality audits weekly / fort-nightly / monthly.
- • Training & guiding the team in the leadership, guest handling, situation handling, and business handling skills.
- • Approving Work Planning / shift schedule of support function staff on-site.
- • Inventory Management, Cash Management, and Accounting.
- • Stock ordering forecasting approval. (Food & Non-Food)
- • Data Management Tracking & Daily MIS report preparations.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's or Masters degree from an accredited University (Hotel Management or MBA)
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Extensive knowledge of the resources and facilities management sectors in the region preferable
- Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
- Large team handling and developing leaders
- Should read and write English and Hindi.
Experience in Multiple site management operations.
12 to 15 years of experience in Catering Ops or QSR or Franchise Operations related activities.
- • Ability to work with and influence others in a fast-paced environment.
- • Strong organizational, communication, presentation and project management skills.
- • Excellent in analysis & reporting tools and techniques.
- • Candidate should be comfortable for travelling for different location if asked upon.
