Role Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible
Drone Pilot

to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for a range of commercial and industrial applications. The Drone Pilot will be responsible for flying drones in accordance with safety protocols, capturing high-quality aerial footage, conducting surveys, and collecting data. The ideal candidate will have experience in drone operation, a strong understanding of aviation safety regulations, and the ability to adapt to different flight scenarios.

Drone Operations:

• Operate drones for various purposes including aerial photography, videography, surveying, inspection, and mapping.
• Plan flight paths, ensuring that the drone's flight is safe, legal, and efficient.
• Ensure drones are fully charged, functional, and ready for flight before operations.

Data Collection & Surveying:

• Capture high-quality images, video, or data from the air using drone-mounted cameras, sensors, and other equipment.
• Conduct aerial surveys and inspections for industries such as construction, agriculture, real estate, energy, and more.
• Process and analyze collected data (such as mapping or thermal imaging) and generate reports as needed.

Pre-Flight & Post-Flight Inspect

• Conduct thorough pre-flight checks on drones, including hardware, software, and battery levels.
• Review weather conditions and assess environmental factors to ensure safe flight conditions.
• Perform post-flight inspections to assess equipment condition, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure the drone is ready for future use.

Flight Planning & Navigation:

• Plan drone flight routes, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Navigate drones to execute precise and controlled movements during missions.
• Adjust flight plans in real time if necessary due to weather changes, obstacles, or mission adjustments.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing drone flights, including FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) rules and other aviation laws.
• Maintain proper documentation of flight logs, inspections, and any incidents or anomalies during flight.
• Follow strict safety protocols to mitigate the risk of accidents and ensure the safety of personnel and property.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of drones before and after each flight.
• Ensure drones and associated equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and repaired as needed.
• Stay updated on drone technology advancements and ensure drones are equipped with the latest software and firmware.

Client Interaction & Reporting:

• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide professional services based on their needs.
• Provide clients with aerial footage, data reports, and any other deliverables according to the agreed-upon timeline and specifications.
• Communicate any issues or delays during drone operations with clients and project managers.
