Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive with hands-on experience in 
US and Canadian accounting processes
. The ideal candidate should be familiar with QuickBooks or similar accounting software and capable of managing end-to-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations for US and Canadian clients.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and trial balances.
  • Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
  • Process payroll, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with US and Canadian accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Assist with tax preparation and year-end audits as needed.
  • Communicate with clients regarding accounting queries and documentation. Hence excellent communication skills required.
  • Work with accounting tools like 
    QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, or NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of Accounting AI tools is preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 2–5 years of experience in US and/or Canadian accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of 
    US GAAP
     and 
    Canadian GAAP
    .
  • Hands-on experience with 
    QuickBooks
    , 
    Xero
    , or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple client accounts.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with tax filing support (US/Canada).
  • Knowledge of payroll systems like 
    ADP
     or 
    Gusto
    .
  • Prior work in outsourcing or accounting BPO firms.
