Junior Software Developer — Android (primary) + Flutter/API (secondary)

Location: Bangalore (Kalyan Nagar) — Hybrid (~12+ Office Days/month)

Salesdiary is a modular B2B platform that unifies field-force, distribution, retailer & influencer operations. Android apps are offline-first with sync queues and caching, and power core SFA/Van Sales workflows that flow into our PWA for governance and analytics.

What you'll do

  • Build and enhance Android features across SFA/Van Sales: attendance, visit execution, digital order booking, payments, returns, POD, and on-the-spot billing/printing for van sales.
  • Implement robust offline-first data flows (queueing, conflict resolution, retries) and efficient background syncs.
  • Integrate with our Node/Express REST APIs and evolve contracts with the API team; contribute lightweight API endpoints when needed.
  • Implement SSO (OIDC/OAuth2), RBAC surface behaviors, and audit-friendly eventing in client flows.
  • Contribute small Flutter tasks for Retailer/Influencer web-apps where needed (UI tweaks, minor screens).
  • Write clean code, add tests, participate in PR reviews, and ship via CI with clear change logs.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years Android (Kotlin/Java) with REST integration, caching, background jobs, and local DBs.
  • Comfort with offline-first patterns and pragmatic performance tuning on low-connectivity devices.
  • Working knowledge of Node/Express and PostgreSQL basics (to collaborate on API/schema work).
  • Understanding of OIDC/OAuth2 SSO and role-aware UX (RBAC cues).
  • Git discipline, testing mindset, and a habit of writing crisp, helpful PR descriptions.

Nice to have

Flutter basics, GitHub Actions, Docker, observability hygiene (logs/metrics/crashes), experience with device printing and PDF/invoice generation.
