Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role serves as a strategic partner to management while managing the daily HR operations including recruitment, compensation, payroll coordination, employee relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Hiring

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process: job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection
  • Conduct background checks and reference verifications
  • Coordinate onboarding process for new hires including orientation programs
  • Maintain talent pipeline and build relationships with recruitment agencies

2. Compensation and Monthly Salaries

  • Manage payroll processing in coordination with finance department
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly salary disbursement
  • Administer compensation and benefit programs
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis
  • Process salary revisions, increments, and bonus payments
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax regulations

3. Invoicing and Budget Management

  • Process invoices for HR-related vendors (recruitment agencies, training providers, etc.)
  • Manage HR department budget and expense tracking
  • Prepare monthly HR cost reports for management
  • Handle employee reimbursement processing
  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers

4. Team Discipline and Employee Relations

  • Develop and implement disciplinary policies and procedures
  • Conduct investigations into employee misconduct or grievances
  • Manage performance improvement plans
  • Facilitate conflict resolution between employees or departments
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data

5. Additional HR Responsibilities

  • Performance Management:
     Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems
  • Training and Development:
     Identify training needs and organize development programs
  • Compliance:
     Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations
  • HR Policies:
     Develop and update employee handbook and policies
  • Employee Engagement:
     Organize team-building activities and employee recognition programs
  • HR Reporting:
     Prepare regular reports on HR metrics (attrition, hiring, etc.)
  • Benefits Administration:
     Manage employee benefits programs (insurance, retirement, etc.)

Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • HR certification (SHRM, PHR, or equivalent) preferred

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and payroll management

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
