Hiring,

Position: Inspection & Quality

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Prefer candidates working for Bulk material handling manufacturing, Welding, Fabrication, Beam, Channel, Framing, Bracing and so on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all quality assurance and inspection activities across the machine shop and shop floor.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO standards.

  • Oversee in-process and final inspections, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry regulations.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Manage a team of quality inspectors and provide training on quality tools and techniques.

  • Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, and audit findings to senior management.

  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.

Required Skills & Tools

  • Strong knowledge of precision machining processes and shop floor operations

  • Proficiency in SPC, FMEA, 5S, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing

  • Hands-on experience with CMMs, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949 standards

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field

  • Certifications like CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Lean Six Sigma preferred
