Role & responsibilities

Technician (Heavy Commercial Vehicles):

  • Perform regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles (HCVs).
  • Inspect vehicle systems (engine, brakes, suspension, transmission, etc.) to identify mechanical issues.
  • Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and performance.
  • Maintain service records, job cards, and report issues to supervisors.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed according to safety and quality standards.
  • Assist in major overhauls and mechanical upgrades when required.

Electrician (Heavy Commercial Vehicles):

  • Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, circuits, lighting, and control systems in HCVs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults in engines, alternators, batteries, and other components.
  • Install and repair electrical accessories and equipment in vehicles.
  • Ensure proper functioning of electrical and electronic systems (ABS, ECU, lighting, etc.).
  • Perform regular electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Follow safety protocols while working with electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with technicians for integrated mechanical-electrical issues.
