Position Title: Deputy Manager – ETS (Tool Room)

Experience: 3 - 5 years

Work Location: Ahmednagar

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance):

  • He will be responsible for all CAM related activities of tool manufacturing.
  • He should decide optimised machining processes in consultation with planning department to deliver quality output in given timeframe & cost.
  • He should provide VMC programs for parts of the tool within prescribed time limit
  • He should do electrode extraction; electrode Programming & provide SEDM layout.
  • He should provide all relevant information required for WEDM machining & inspection.
  • He should be involved in all improvement initiatives to achieve continuous improvement.

Functional Competencies

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Hyper Mill CAM software, CREO, and Veri cut.
  • In-depth understanding of 3-axis VMC, Wire EDM, and Spark EDM machines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Ability to optimize tool paths and improve production cycle time
  • Experience with tooling selection and evaluation to improve tool life and reduce costs
  • Familiarity with CNC machine shop operations and production processes.
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Knowledge of Limit, Fits & Tolerances.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
