What you'll do

  • Build and maintain

    APIs (REST), integrate with
    MongoDB
  • Design clean data models, indexes, and aggregation pipelines
  • Implement authentication, rate-limits, validation, and role-based access
  • Write reusable services, utilities, and error-handled controllers
  • Optimize performance (pagination, caching, query tuning)
  • Collaborate with Frontend & Mobile to ship features end-to-end
  • Add basic tests and helpful logs/metrics

Must-have skills

  • JavaScript/TypeScript
    ,

    ,
    MongoDB/Mongoose
  • REST API design, JSON schemas, validation, error handling
  • Git/GitHub, environment config, Postman/Insomnia
  • Clear communication and problem-solving

Good to have (bonus)

  • Redis/queues, cron jobs, WebSockets
  • Auth (OTP/email flows, JWT, OAuth), file uploads (S3/local)
  • Basic CI/CD and Docker fundamentals
  • Familiarity with to collaborate with FE team
