Key Responsibilities:

Network Administration:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure and VPN solutions.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and wireless access points (Cisco).
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and performance.

Firewall and Security:

  • Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto).
  • Manage security policies, NAT rules, and VPN tunnels.
  • Analyze firewall logs and perform regular security audits.
  • Ensure firewall redundancy and high availability.

Cybersecurity and Compliance:

  • Monitor security breaches and respond to incidents.
  • Implement endpoint protection, anti-malware, and data loss prevention solutions.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration tests.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with system administrators and IT support teams.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for network and security-related issues.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Train staff on network and security best practices when needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, PCNSA/PCNSE,CompTIA Security+.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade firewall systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IP routing, VLANs, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), DNS, DHCP, and 802.1x.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
