Role & responsibilities :

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing including salary, bonuses, overtime, and statutory deductions.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
  • Create and map PF/ESI accounts; resolve related employee grievances
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal management and external audits
  • Handle internal and external audit processes efficiently
  • Manage death claims and final settlements with sensitivity and accuracy
  • Generate payroll MIS reports and cost analysis for management review
  • Support year-end tax planning for employees.
  • Stay updated on changes in labour laws and taxation policies
  • Assist in payroll system upgrades and automation initiatives
  • Ensure timely filing of PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax returns
  • Should be well versed in handling half year returns and year end returns
  • Address employee queries related to salary structure, deductions, and reimbursements

    Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data
  • Support compliance during labour inspections and government audit.
