Job description

We are looking for a Banking & Financial Management Professional to join our team and contribute to our team in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management matters. As a Banking & Financial Management Expert at BBNL, you will be responsible for in managing and optimizing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves developing financial strategies, overseeing banking operations, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The expert will also be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support the organization's growth and profitability.

As a part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the organizations long-term goals.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.

Banking Operations:

  • Oversee daily banking operations, including cash management, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
  • Ensure efficient and secure transaction processing and banking services.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize banking costs and services.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial losses.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Investment Management:

  • Manage the organizations investment portfolio, ensuring optimal returns while minimizing risk.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and economic indicators to make informed investment decisions.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including Basel III, IFRS, and local banking laws.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and drive financial performance.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior management on financial matters.

What Were Looking For:

  • 3+ Years of experience.
  • Licensing: Licensed to practice CA (ICAI).

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, SAP).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Qualification:

Charted Accountant or equivalent financial degree from an accredited institution

Desired:

  • Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) are highly desirable.

Additional: MBA (Finance) will be add-on.
