Job description

Consultant (ROW & Civil Structure) - BBNL

Objective: To leverage expertise in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations and complex Excel spreadsheets to support business operations, improve data visualization, and facilitate effective communication within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging PowerPoint presentations that convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Create and manage detailed Excel spreadsheets, including data entry, formula application, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Maintain and update presentation templates and Excel sheets as needed.
  • Provide support in data analysis and reporting using advanced Excel functions.
  • Communicating through Email, Virtual meetings etc. between the BSNL Head office and various regional offices, clients, vendors etc.
  • Compiling the information received from the regional offices, consultants etc. and presenting in desired format to the seniors.

Desirable Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with other productivity tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive) etc.

PowerPoint Proficiency:

  • Advanced skills in creating and formatting slides, incorporating multimedia elements, and designing visually appealing layouts.
  • Ability to use animation and transition effects effectively to enhance presentations.
  • Experience with custom slide master design and template creation.

Excel Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and various statistical and logical functions.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with data validation, conditional formatting, and macro recording.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and present findings in a clear and actionable format.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in science, Commerce, Business Administration, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in creating PowerPoint presentations and managing Excel spreadsheets in a professional setting.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or similar certifications are advantageous but not required.
