Head of Project Planning and Control

Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Alignment Develop a deep understanding of the organization's overall strategy and long-term objectives. Align project goals with the company's strategic vision to ensure sustainable growth and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for process optimization and business improvements.
Project Identification & Initiation Oversee the selection and prioritization of projects that align with organizational objectives. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects. Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Budgeting & Resource Optimization Define project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and resource optimization. Work closely with project managers and department heads to allocate manpower and financial resources effectively. Monitor financial performance against budgets and take corrective measures when needed.
Project Execution, Monitoring & Control Establish and implement project management frameworks, processes, and methodologies. Continuously track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution. Identify bottlenecks, resolve project roadblocks, and take proactive measures for risk mitigation.
Required work experience & knowledge: 10-15 yrs total experience of which 6-7 yrs of onground experience and 5 yrs of experience in HO planning and control Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from premium Institutes. Master's degree in Project Management or equivalent Certification (i.e. pmp, etc.) .
Proven experience in project planning and scheduling, particularly for water supply projects. Familiarity with resource allocation, cost tracking, and dependency management.
