Key Responsibilities:

Real Estate:

  • Lead and manage all real estate development, acquisitions, leasing, and asset management.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate new real estate opportunities in alignment with company strategy.
  • Oversee property transactions including purchases, sales, joint ventures, and leasing agreements.
  • Conduct market and financial analysis to support site selection and investment decisions.
  • Ensure timely completion of real estate projects in accordance with approved budgets and timelines.
  • Manage relationships with brokers, landlords, developers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with zoning laws, land use regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Legal:

  • Provide legal oversight for all real estate and corporate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
  • Lead due diligence efforts during acquisitions, mergers, or divestitures.
  • Ensure corporate compliance with regulatory frameworks, licenses, and permits.
  • Advise executive leadership on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee litigation matters related to property disputes, contracts, or regulatory issues.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel and ensure cost-effective legal support.
  • Establish and enforce internal governance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of combined experience in real estate and legal roles, preferably in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate law, contracts, leasing, zoning, and development processes.
  • Experience managing complex legal negotiations and real estate portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, legal, and financial teams.
  • Experience in [industry-specific real estate] (e.g., commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare) is a plus.
