Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing various HR functions, ensuring that our organisation attracts, retains, and develops top talent. This position requires strong communication and analytical skills, along with a thorough understanding of human resources processes and systems.

Duties

  • Manage the recruitment process through Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Taleo and Workday, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programmes to facilitate new hire integration.
  • Maintain and update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee data management.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends in workforce metrics and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to various stakeholders.
  • Provide support in performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
  • Assist in the development of training programmes aimed at enhancing employee skills and knowledge.
  • Supervise HR interns or junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while promoting best practices within the organisation.

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources management or a related field is essential.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft or Workday is highly desirable.
  • Previous supervisory experience is an advantage, demonstrating leadership capabilities within an HR context.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Data analysis skills are required to interpret HR metrics and inform strategic initiatives.
