  • Food Safety and Quality:
  • Ensure the freshness of all ingredients.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and preparation areas.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Kitchen Management:
  • Oversee other kitchen staff, delegating tasks as needed.
  • Manage inventory, stock shelves, and keep the pantry organized.
  • Maintain and report any malfunctions with kitchen equipment.
  • Menu and Recipe Development:
  • Create new recipes and develop signature rubs or sauces.
  • Plan menus and ensure the overall quality of the meals served.
  • Presentation:
  • Arrange and garnish dishes to present them attractively.
  • General Kitchen Duties:
  • Keep the kitchen, equipment, and work area clean and organized.
  • Discard expired food items and maintain a safe working environment.
