Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Jigani, Bangalore

Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday – Saturday)

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations and support business teams at our Jigani facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across core HR functions and will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of HR policies, compliance, and employee engagement at the plant/location level.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Operations & Administration
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with payroll team for timely and accurate payroll inputs.
  • Recruitment & Staffing
  • Manage recruitment for site-level positions including blue-collar and support functions.
  • Liaise with agencies, conduct interviews, and facilitate offer & joining processes.
  • Employee Engagement & Communication
  • Implement engagement initiatives, grievance redressal mechanisms, and communication forums at the location.
  • Support initiatives to strengthen workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Statutory Compliance & HR Audits
  • Ensure adherence to all labour laws and statutory norms applicable to the location.
  • Coordinate with legal/compliance teams for inspections, returns, and audits.
  • Performance & Policy Implementation
  • Support implementation of HR policies, performance appraisals, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Act as the HR point of contact for employees at the location.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
  • 3–6 years of experience in HR Generalist/Plant HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience managing blue-collar workforce will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
