Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Tender Head to manage end-to-end tendering and bid management for a reputed logistics company. The role involves handling RFPs/RFQs, government and corporate contracts, pricing strategies, and leading a small team to ensure timely and competitive submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete tendering process from receipt to submission.
- Analyze tender documents and coordinate with operations, finance, and legal teams.
- Prepare pricing strategies, proposals, and bid documentation.
- Monitor government portals (GeM, eProcurement) for new opportunities.
- Liaise with government bodies, PSUs, and corporate clients.
- Track win/loss ratios and mentor the tendering team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of tendering experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of government tender portals & e-procurement systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
