Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Bengaluru. The Sous Chef will be responsible for day-to-day kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and overseeing kitchen staff. Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring food quality and presentation standards, managing inventory and supply orders, and training new kitchen staff. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines and contributing to the creation of new menu items.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Experience in menu planning and recipe development
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
